Rusty Marsh | Executive Director
Rusty Marsh began as Executive Director of the Augusta Rescue Mission on September 1, 2009. Previously, he was the South Carolina Administrator for the Golden Harvest Food Bank’s Aiken Distribution Center in Aiken, SC. While there, Rusty chaired the Aiken/Barnwell Housing and Homeless Coalition and was on the Board of the Midlands Area Consortium for the Homeless. He holds an Associate of Science from the University of South Carolina Aiken and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Augusta College. Rusty resides in North Augusta, SC with wife, Ann, son, Chris, and daughter, Margaret. They attend New Life Christian Center in Augusta, GA.
Chris Jones | Chaplain/Program Manager
Chris Jones has served in some form of ministry for over ten years. After receiving his B.A. in Pastoral Christian Ministries with an emphasis in Pastor Care from Oral Roberts University, Chris served as Assistant to the Director at Broad Street Ministry Center in Augusta, GA. Soon after, Chris took an associate pastorate in Anniston, AL where he met his wife Priscilla. Together they ministered in music, to youth, and to college and career singles. Chris enjoys teaching, writing, and counseling. He is currently a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors with whom he is completing his certificate in Addiction and Recovery. Chris and his wife joyfully welcomed their first child, Josiah, into their lives in September 2011.

Dirk Martinez is a United States Army Veteran who has spent most of his life in Augusta, GA. In his adult life, after battling a couple of failed marriages and his personal struggles with drugs and alochol, Dirk found himself homeless and broken. He turned to the Augusta Rescue Mission for help, and this is where he found a true relationship with Jesus Christ. After excelling through the program at A.R.M., he was asked to come on staff as the Residential and Phase I Manager, where he has served for nearly a year and a half. Dirk now serves as Operations Manager and is primarily responsible for helping to keep the programmers on track as he manages their work details and assists in their day to day needs.

Amanda is an Augusta native and has been serving at A.R.M. for almost a year and a half. Her daily responsibilities include maintaining the business office, handling monetary donations, and assisting the Excutive Director. She has a heart after God and for broken people and is currently completing her certificate in Advanced Discipleship Training through Christian Life Today. Amanda enjoys reading, encouraging people, and serving in Christian ministry.
